Sportbike Seat Covers
1. Question: Are seat covers easy to install?
- Answer: Yes. A small flat screwdriver, needle-nose pliers, staple gun, and 3/8"
staples are all that’s required to install the cover in less than an hour. Detailed
instructions are included with each cover.
2. Question: Can I install the Custom Seat Creations seat cover over the stock seat
upholstery?
- Answer: Yes, but we recommend removal of old cover for a tighter fit and a more
professional look. Longer staples would be needed to install the skin over the
existing seat, and some bulkiness will occur in the corners on the underside of the
seat.
3. Question: Are they made out of leather?
- Answer: All Custom Seat Creations products are made using Marine Grade Vinyl!
4. Question: Is the vinyl painted or dyed?

- Answer: Yes, the materials and craftsmanship are guaranteed for a year from the
date of purchase.
6. Question: Is the color a perfect match to my bike?
- Answer: Paint and vinyl are two totally different properties, and must be viewed
that way. We offer free small samples of our vinyl for color matching purposes.
7. Question: How long does it take to get my cover?
- Answer: We try to ship all items within 14-business days from payment and color
choices. If your color choices are on backorder at the time of placing your order, we
will notify you of a new expected shipment date when it becomes available. The
shipping methods do not make your cover ship faster. All items are custom made
to order and shipped within 14-business days.
8. What if my item is returned to you?
- Answer: If your order is returned to us for any reason, you will be responsible to
pay return shipping back to you. You will also have to provide an alternate shipping
address to have the item sent to. We do not cancel orders.
9. Question: Can I return my item for a refund?
- Answer: No. All items are custom made. We only offer exchanges. Please see the
exchange page for details.
10. Question: Can I cancel my order?
- Answer: No. Once purchased all orders are sent to completion. You may sell your
cover once you receive it.
11. Question: I bought my item at full price. It is now on sale. Can I get the sale price?
- Answer: No. Our sale prices are listed only for the time they are shown. All items
are made to order at the time of purchase regardless of the price at the time. If you
purchased an item at a retail store and the next day it went on sale you wouldn't be
able to get the sale price for that item. The same goes here.
12. Question: There's a problem with my order. What can I do?
- Answer: Any errors in your order must be provided to us within 10 business days
of receipt of item. Failure to contact us and report the error within the 10 business
days will void a replacement cover, any warranty or a refund of the merchandise.
- If you were sent the wrong item, contact us immediately upon receipt of your order
and we'll research the matter and correct it as quickly as possible.
- If it's a fitment problem, please provide a brief explanation and a photo submission
as to why the cover does not fit. All you have to do is contact us.
- Any defective covers must be returned to us for an exchange within 10 business
days of receipt. Failure to return the defective cover within the 10 business days will
void a replacement cover, any warranty or a refund of the merchandise.
13. Question: How can I exchange my cover?
- Answer: We have an entire page devoted to this. Please see our Exchange page
for details.
14. Question: Why am I blocked from purchases?
- Answer: Custom Seat Creations has the right to refuse service to anyone. We've
dealt with some downright nasty individuals. Instead of dealing with any hassles, we
will simply not allow you to purchase from us.
15. Question: What are your shipping methods?
- Answer: We offer USPS Priority, Express and International Express shipping.
16. Question: Can I get free shipping on covers?
- Answer: No. Shipping prices are not negotiable.
17. Question: Are your covers made on an assembly line?
- Answer: No. All covers are hand-crafted and machine sewed individually.
18. Question: Do you add foam or padding?
- Answer: No. We sell only covers.
19. Question: Are your covers heat-shaped?
- Answer: No. All covers are flat vinyl cut to the approximate size of the seat. The
cover simply wraps around the seat pan and staples. They are made larger for
trimming purposes.
20. Are your shipping charges actual shipping cost?
- Answer: No. Shipping charges include packaging materials, extra merchandise
included in package such as pens, stickers, etc. we include for advertising, fuel for
postal runs and the time it costs to package the item. We charge a fair flat fee for
what we provide.
